Dancing and the Zoo!

Shalom. This is yet another post on a nice sunday afternoon. Not much has really gone on in this last week, just more of university. Sorry if the information is getting boring....It's just college life now. I did however do a few interesting things this week. On Tuesday, I went with a couple friends to the German colony and attended a dance class. It was very fun, however it was rather slow. The first two hours is for beginners and it was at that point that I realized how hardcore about dancing we are at Beit Hallel. Anyways, I did have some fun and unfortionately the group wanted to leave before they started doing the dances I knew, but I will try to go back there on this coming tuesday. On Friday, all of the aleph level classes went to the Biblical Zoo. This is a zoo that features animals mostly from the bible and a few that are not specifically mentioned. It was very fun, only I did get to see the Lions, or cheetahs, or the bears....So really I didn't see anything cool! We had to do a scavenger hunt and my group had to go to the elephant station

Love you all,
Jesse

Hey Jesse!
Gregory identifies with you being lost last week. He went to the fair, and then had "no clue"
where he had parked the car! After roaming up and down the streets of Puyallup for hours, in the dark...he finally stumbled upon it!! At least HE isn't in a foreign country!!
Way to go on those test scores!
We're keeping you in our prayers,
Gonzaleses

S.Jenkins said.....Yes you betcha Gary and the Beit Halel dance troupe are uper hard core - why do you think i can't keep up 80% of the time? Ha hahahahahahah....and YOU thought it was because I have two left feet and one hand tied behind my back! I never got to the biblical zoo, but there is a biblical garden featuring the foliage and botany of the Bible which was super cool when I was there. Do and see as much as possible. Redeem your short time remaining in The Land. I hope it is the first of many trips there. Beit Halel misses you though - so you gotta come home! Won't it be exciting - your first Yom Teruah/Rosh HaShanah in Israel? Tell us all on your next blog, Holy days are always extra special in The Land ! Love from Us Jenkins, and Shanah Tova!
Mrs. Jenkins said.......... Wow Jesse! Did you check out Ryans photos on his blog? I know you did! Aren't they so amazing? We were all checking your updates at Johnsons on Erev Yom Teruah and all wishing you guys were there with us , but glad for you that you are in Israel.Yom Kippur will be awsome for you two together in Jerusalem (may my right hand lose its skill should I forget Her)You will be home for Sukkot though and we'll all have a blast - no, I mean a wonderful time - hold the blasting, please =0! And Mat&Cat's wedding! We all miss you !
Shalom...If anyone gets to this comment, I have just a few things to say. Sorry that I didn't post today, the computer won't let me go to the editing page and I don't have time to find another one today. So...I will try tomorrow. I have only three days left of Ulpan, and this is the most intense part. I have an oral exam tomorrow that is comprised of two 5 minute dialogues in Hebrew and I have to know 3 large texts from the textbook and I will be asked questions about them. Wednesday is all review for the final on Thursday. It is worth 40% of my grade so I really have to do good on it. After that I am free! Ryan and I will travel around Jerusalem and have a lot of fun. Oh and also, I got a 96% on the last big test that was last Thursday. So far so good. All the other news I will try to post tomorrow.
L'Shana Tova!
Love Jesse
